Stem Cells
The problem is ... I remember THIS(Stem Cells from Skin Cells) story from June.
Why is this research JUST NOW coming to the attention of media all over the world? I remember being VERY impressed by the news when I heard it many months ago.
Don't get me wrong, this is a BIG deal. I'm all for it.
I Just can't understand why everyone seemed to notice now.

And the answer SHOULD be...
"Why has ESPN news been interrupting regular programs? It's getting annoying that my shows (even primetime) are interrupted."
The answer of course should be "Don't know. Don't care. Not my station buddy."
When will people learn that we are not all "the TV".

All White people Leave NOW!!
Here is my transcription of the text, missing letters in parentheses.(It is a dry erase board after all):
REMINDER!!!
if your skine is not brown
if you do not have Black (or) Brown eyes, if your
hair is (no)t black and most important
if you s(pea)k English - You are the one
who needs to go!! Get out of our land
if you have blue - or - Green eyes - or
blonde hair -You are the invader -
you need to leave - You killed to get
my land - you lied - you raped and now
you are doing it againg
Lou Dobbs - This is Not your land.
Get Out!! Get Out!!
And if you want to speak ENGLISH only
go back to England - they all do over there,
We don't here - leave this land that belongs to us -
leave - Go - before you destroy the little that we have left.
All white people Leave NOW!!
Interesting. I've never killed or raped anyone to get land.
Lou Dobbs doesn't work at KOLR10.
Where would I go? I was born about three miles to the west of where I sit right now.
Does my black hair let me stay in this country despite the fact that my eyes are sorta blue?

NoooooooooooooOOOOOOOOO
It was supposed to be January. Life is so cruel. We do get a made for TV movie Battlestar Galactica: Razor in November ... but it's just amovie.
But this speculation is interesting:
'Battlestar Galactica' Could Move To NBC
The SyFy Portal speculation isn't totally out of the rela of possibility, NBC did air the Galactica miniseries on a weekend a couple of years ago.
This might be the best way for me to see Battlestar in HD.
Maybe Farscape will return sooner than later to fill in the gaps. But, I can't find any details about production starting. I know, it'll be web only ... but I'll take what I can get.

Some disturbing math...
KYTV Channel 3
KSPR Channel 33
KYTV now operates KSPR. Effectively giving KY3 two news operations.
333 x 2 = 666
How can this be anything other than confirmation of some of my previous statements that KYTV is the "Evil Empire"?
Go ahead, call me CRAZY!!!!!!!!
Then again ... maybe i don't think too clearly at 5am. SATIN is COOL!!!!!!!!!!!

My Personal Assault
Only this time, someone in a passing car decided to throw a beer bottle at me.
I got hit ... it hurt a little, but the bottle didn't break, so I have a nifty trophy.
Now, I know I've made people who actually know me mad enough to throw stuff at me ... but who throws a bottle at someone they don't even know?
Well, anyway. .. if you are on You Tube and find a video of some punk throwing a beer bottle at a fat guy in a KOLR10 jacket ... let me know, I'll add that info to the police report.

New for Look KSPR
All around nice guy, Joe Daues, will return to Springfield TV news. Sherwood from KY, will move to weekends to anchor. Afternoon news at 4:30 and 5:30.
My initial response is ..... meh. Joe is a super nice guy. And I think you may see an initial bump in KSPR ratings (tho ... I'll never be able to talk about any specifics since my station doesn't subscribe to them) , but I'm not sure that anything that they do over there will make any difference in the long term.
When the news department was started over there, the ownership at the time threw alot of money and personnel into the fray.
Anything is possible tho. They'll need to do better than putting a St. Louis story(happened tonight) in the first two minutes of the newscast to impress me tho.
