New for Look KSPR
I've been hearing rumors for a couple of weeks now, and yesterday everything was apparently confirmed.
All around nice guy, Joe Daues, will return to Springfield TV news. Sherwood from KY, will move to weekends to anchor. Afternoon news at 4:30 and 5:30.
My initial response is ..... meh. Joe is a super nice guy. And I think you may see an initial bump in KSPR ratings (tho ... I'll never be able to talk about any specifics since my station doesn't subscribe to them) , but I'm not sure that anything that they do over there will make any difference in the long term.
When the news department was started over there, the ownership at the time threw alot of money and personnel into the fray.
Anything is possible tho. They'll need to do better than putting a St. Louis story(happened tonight) in the first two minutes of the newscast to impress me tho.
